Hu-plah

1. don't ask about the title ^_^

2.Happy Easter. Yes I know I'm a day late. oops.

3. Hey! hows everybody. Its been a while since I have last posted a message... but I was sick so that has to count for something.

Lets start from the beginning...Well as I said, I was sick, but that's not that great of a subject so I shall move on. There is this really good book that Zach let me borrow called Showdown and finally after about 4 weeks of borrowing it, the book has ended. I hate finishing books, if your a reader you may feel the same way... you get attached with the character and the plot as if its your second world. Then its gone and a week later you have dived into the world of.... well whatever it is you are reading now... how cool is that!.

I had a dream a few days ago, well it was more like a nightmare... and it just so happins in my English, I had to write a short stroy of a scary event. I decided to write it, on this nightmare I just had, of a trip I took to Lagoona Beach......

Story
My friend and I went to Lagoona beach, where Mr. Bowdel (my friends dad) knew a secret spot on the beach that was perfect for catching and observing ocean life. Blaize (my friend) and I were messing around with bright plants and diving under the smooth ocean waves. Dale, my friends older brother and Mr. Bowdel decided to go out deeper in the water and go around this peninsula that jutted out to sea about 25 yards. There was a beach and a large cave on the other side, that they thought needed exploring. My friend and I got out of the water about a hour later and started getting nervous. The tide was changing, and the sun was going down. It started getting colder and with every passing minute we got even more worried. Finally I spoke up, "should we go and get them, what if something happened?" After five minutes of debating the issue, we decided to give it a try. I went in first, about stomach deep, Blaize was keeping his distance behind me. The waves had definitely changed, they were breaking fast. I stopped and turned my back to the ocean to check up on my buddy. He was trudging along at a very slow pace, I didn't blame him, the waves were strong. He watched his foot placement, then looked up at me. All I his emotions screamed panic. His face turned chalk white and he just stared at me. Only I was dead wrong. He wasn't staring at me... he was staring behind me. A shaky finger was the only body part that moved in his whole body, and it was pointing in my direction. It hit me so hard I was afraid to look. There was a shark!
DUN DUN DUN
My apologies for any Bordem or desire to smash your screen with a ten pound sludge hammer due to the lack of good writting on my part haha.
Oh and not like you care... but for that strange individual that does... that's not the end of the story. Yes, I know what your thinking... "Darn he didn't get eaten by the hungry shark" but stories have to end well so what can I say lol. Oh and for the even stranger'er individual that wants to hear the end of the story just.... ask me, yup thataldo.
So... its 8:21 and 51 seconds PM here and everyone is going to go watch "Broken Trail". If you have not seen it, see it. I must say you will want to be a cowboy after you watch this movie, shoot I even wanted to go west and carry guns ^_^ Yes this is my second time watching this movie. PS. if you are going to watch broken trail there is a couple parts where it would get... possibly offensive... especially in the very beginning... but it really happens (what it is they are showing) and they do it to prove a point, just be aware of that.
Good night

New York Times

Hello again everybody welcome into Brock's bubble...

I havnt posted in a little while so theres a couple things that havnt been posted yet!! Im sure your all just so excited to continue reading.....................................

..........................................

Alright starting with Saturday! As you all know (that is... those of you who reading these things we call blogs) the youth group had a trip to Lighthouse Baptist Church. Everything was great. We arrived there around...12:30?? I think lol. We started off by having this absolutely hilarious preacher. His name was Johny Pope if I remember right. He was a preacher from Texas... he has been in the ministry for around 30-40 years. What a stunning experience it was to be able to listen to him preach, he had such a good balance between being funny and being dead serious. After the preaching ended we went straight into doing competitions. I have to admit I was extremely nervous! I think being nervous is a good thing because in total... with Randy (sorry for miss spellings)
he got a 1st place for vocals. We also got a 2nd in Large group anssemble(sp) and Zach and I got a 2nd in instrumental duet. We did verrrrryyyy well as a whole youth group. I must say we all were super proud to call Pastor Watkins our pastor after he preformed his magic tricks and ventriloquism. Of course we were proud to call him our pastor before the act but yeah... he was great!

So that's a heads up on what happened Saturday....

I don't think anything major has happened other than that... I had school today! Not that I don't usually..... ^_^

BUSY

So this Sunday we were on the way home from church. We were the first car to pull up to the red light. The light turned green and the jeep shut down. Thanks to a couple friends @ church we were able to push the jeep (through traffic) into the chevron gas station. Another thanks to Mr. George (having a cell) and Mr. Purdy (having a ginormous van). About 30 mins. later we got home and ate (I was starving ^_^ ).

Enough with the boring stuff.....

This Monday night Zach and I went to orchestra practice. It was very... how to put it... stressful? Either way I thought it was really cool and.... I got a really awesome guitar duet. Though... it may be very difficult, everything will sound good after much practice... that is I hope it will sound good.

Oh man time seems to be ticking! This Saturday were playing "seek ye first" (Laurie Misner, Krystal Misner, Wendy Briggs, John Watkins, Randy Smith, Vanessa Castanero, Sam Price (vocals), Zach Ferguson (violin), Brock Bowers (guitar) ). That same Saturday Zach and I are playing "Oh the Deep Deep Love of Jesus" as a instrumental duet. All I have to say is... PLEASE PRAY THAT WE WILL ALL DO FINE, thanks in advance.

I hope everyone has a terrific week!
